Navigating available rebates for Air Conditioners and Heat Pump can be a hassle. As a full service HVAC installer we manage this process for you. Previouse Incentives for single-family homes
Existing strip heat to a minimum 15 SEER & 8.2 HSPF heat pump system: $375
Less-efficient heat pump to a minimum 15 SEER & 8.2 HSPF heat pump system: $200
Existing strip heat to a minimum 17 SEER & 9.0 HSPF heat pump system: $800
Less-efficient heat pump to a minimum 17 SEER & 9.0 HSPF heat pump system: $600
Previous Incentives for manufactured homes
Existing strip heat to a minimum 15 SEER & 8.2 HSPF heat pump system: $375
Less-efficient heat pump to a minimum 15 SEER & 8.2 HSPF heat pump system: $200
Qualifying systems include:
Heat pumps – 15.0 SEER or greater $135
Straight cool / natural gas heat – 15.0 SEER or greater $135 (new furnace required, propane gas does not qualify)
Heat pump mini splits – 15.0 SEER or greater $135 (based on the number of condensing units)
Geothermal systems – 12.0 EER or greater $135
Restrictions
A minimum Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER) of 15.0 is required to participate.
Geothermal systems are eligible with a minimum EER of 12.0.
Ductless heat pump mini-split systems that have a minimum SEER of 15.0 are eligible for a rebate. The rebate is based on the number of condensing units.
Qualifications: Under Part II of IRS Form 5695, Nonbusiness Energy PropertyCredit, an eligible taxpayer may claim up to $300 in tax credits, subject to IRS limits based on the type of HVAC equipment installed, including:
Air Conditioners: Up to 10% of installed costs for systems which meet or exceed 16 SEER and 13 EER.
Heat Pumps: Up to 10% of installed costs for systems which meet or exceed 15 SEER, 12.5 EER and 8.5 HSPF.
Heat Pump Package units exceeding 14 SEER, 12 EER, HSPF 8
Air Conditioner Package units exceeding 14 SEER, 12 EER
